'Jitney' touches hearts in thoughtful SCR staging

It's a play that sets forth the elemental themes Wilson develops later in "Fences," "King Hedley II" and other scripts. Perhaps they're not as well-formed here, but "Jitney" is clearly the work of a master in the process of finding his powerful voice.
